Dr. Carly Alanouf, DDS

Dr. Carly Alanouf aims to support patients with dental anxiety by helping them feel more at ease in the chair and getting them back to smiling. She places a strong emphasis on patient education, ensuring individuals are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for a happy and healthy mouth. She also has a passion for Special Care dentistry and is a member of the Special Care Dental Association. In addition, Dr. Alanouf provides comprehensive family and children’s dentistry, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients of all ages.
 
Dr. Alanouf grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelor’s degree in the Environment from the University of Michigan. She then moved to New York to obtain her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the NYU College of Dentistry and completed her General Practice Residency at NYU Langone – Brooklyn.
 
When she’s not at work, Dr. Alanouf enjoys reading, roller derby, playing video games and board games, and spending time with her husband and their two cats, Lily and Nova. She loves caring for families and children and takes pride in helping young patients build healthy habits early on.
 
Dr. Alanouf’s favorite dental advice: “Brush in the morning to keep your friends, and brush at night to keep your teeth.”

Spencer Carl Saint-Cyr, DMD

Dr. Spencer Carl Saint-Cyr specializes in root canal treatment, which provides immediate relief from toothaches and saves the natural tooth. He graduated from the University of Pennyslvania School of Dental Medicine in 1997. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey in 1998. His post-graduate specialty residency in Endodontics was completed in 2000 at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Dr. Saint-Cyr maintains his own private practice in Endodontics in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is also a clinical assistant professor of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Saint-Cyr provides root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures to patients under general anesthesia and sedation at the Thurm Dental Group on an as-needed basis.

Karen Robnett, CRNA

Meet Karen Robnett, CRNA. Karen earned her nursing degree from the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and her Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification from Montgomery Hospital. She has worked for 20 years in hospital surgical anesthesia care and dental anesthesia throughout Southern New Jersey. Karen’s experience in out-patient office anesthesia has resulted in the safe and effective delivery for Dr. Thurm’s patients since 2015.

Lisa Myers, RDH

Meet Lisa Myers, RDH. Lisa has a dental hygiene career that spans nearly thirty years. As a hygienist who has spent many years with the same practice, she has had the unique opportunity to develop close, connected relationships with our patients. Lisa is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, she is CPR-certified, and she has trained in nitrous oxide monitoring. Lisa’s greatest joy is spending time with her husband, raising and cheering on their three daughters, and spoiling their wonderful pup named Milo. She also finds pleasure playing pickleball, doing Pilates, and hosting family gatherings.

Chrissy Torrie

Meet Chrissy Torrie. Chrissy has been in the dental field for more than 25 years as a receptionist and dental assistant. Chrissy joined Dr. Thurm’s team in 2009 and is typically the first person you will talk to on the phone or when you walk through our front door. Chrissy is very knowledgeable about dentistry and can answer most of the questions new patients have about our office and the services we provide. When not in the office, you can find Chrissy curled up with a good book or spending time with family and friends.

Michele Nowlen

Meet Michele Nowlen. Michele has more than 25 years of experience and joined Dr. Thurm’s team in 2004. She participates in all aspects of dental assisting such as radiology and assisting during general anesthesia cases. She is an exceptional dental assistant whose remarkable empathy and compassion ease the fears of even the most phobic patients. Outside of the office you can find Michele working out at the gym or spending time with her grandchildren.
